Mountrail County permit applications types:

All permit applications are fillable PDF's and can be emailed to the Road & Bridge Department once the application has been completely filled out.

1. Mountrail County Permanent Approach Permit         
(County Roads, Organized Township Roads, Unorganized Township roads and Section lines)
*Non-Refundable $100 fee (for review and inspection) per approach used for agricultural or residential purposes. 
*Non-Refundable $200 fee (for review and inspection) per approach used for commercial or industrial purposes. 
                   
2. Mountrail County Temporary Approach Permit         
(County Roads, Unorganized Township Roads and Section lines)      
*Non-Refundable $100 fee (for review and inspection) per approach used for agricultural or residential purposes. 
*Non-Refundable $200 fee (for review and inspection) per approach used for commercial or industrial purposes. 
**Cash Bond Fee of $7,000 per Temporary Approach        
                   
3. Mountrail County Temporary Right-of-Way Use Permit (material in ditches)  
(County Roads, Unorganized Township Roads and Section lines)      
*Non-refundable permit fee of $100 per crossing & $250 per mile (if in Mountrail County ROW) to Mountrail County, at time of application.
**Cash Bond Fee of $1,000 per mile (if in Mountrail County ROW) to Mountrail County, at time of application. 
**Minimum Cash Bond Fee will be $1,000.          
                   
4. Utility Crossing Consent Permit (overhead & underground)      
(County Roads, Unorganized Township Roads and Section Lines)      

*Non-refundable permit fee of $200 per crossing to Mountrail County, due at time of submittal.
