7/21/2026:
Mountrail County Route 4 (aka 74th Street) will be restricted to 6Ton Axle / 80,000 LBS Gross, effective Monday, July 27 @ 7AM.
This restriction is for CR4 (aka 74th Street), starting at CR7 (aka 91st Ave) and going west to the Mountrail County / Williams County Line (aka 102nd Ave)
This restriction is due to the deteriorating condition of the roadway.
The 6ton axle / 80,000 lbs gross restriction will remain in place until further notice.
7/21/2026:
Paving Construction is starting this week on CR11 (aka 67th Ave) between 59th Street and 51st Street. We will be evaluating OVERSIZE and OVERWEIGHT travel on a CASE by CASE basis - travel thru the construction area is NOT guaranteed.
Please avoid travel on this section of roadway if possible.

7/17/2026:
Fertile Township has changed the weight limit of 33rd Street to "By Legal Weight / 105,500 LBS Gross".
This temporary weight limit change is for the 2 mile section of 33rd Street starting at CR3 (aka 76th Ave) and traveling west to 78th Ave (township border).
This temporay weight limit change went into effect this morning.

07/17/2026:
Liberty Township has changed the weight limit on 33rd Street and 79.5 Avenue to :By Legal Weight / 105,500 LBS Gross.
***33rd Street section is starting at 78th Avenue (township border) and traveling west 1.5 miles to 79.5th Avenue.
***79.5th Avenue section is starting at 33rd Street and traveling south 1/2 mile.
This temporary weight limit change went into effect this morning.

7/10/2026:
Mountrail County has a "No Overweight Travel" allowed on any Asphalt Surface Roadway when air temperatures reach 85 degrees or higher.
This restriction is in place to preserve the paved roadway surface.
Any and all prior issued permits for travel on paved roadway surfaces are VOID once air temperature reaches 85 degrees on day of travel.
As even legal loads may cause damages on asphalt surface roadways when air temperatures exceed 85 degrees, we ask that you plan your travels in the cooler hours of the day or use alternative routes.
Please keep this in mind and plan your travel accordingly if you are moving this weekend with the excessive temperatures.

Oakland Township has lifted the 6 Ton Axle / 60,000 lbs GVW restriction for all Oakland Township roadways, as of 3 PM on Tuesday, June 30th.

06/22/2026:
Ross Township is lifting the restrictions on 86th Avenue, from US2 going south 2 miles to 60th Street.
86th Avenue, between US2 and 60th Street, will now return to 80,000 lbs GVW - with NO OVERWEIGHT TRAVEL ALLOWED.
These restrictions are due to the current roadway condition and will remain in place until further notice.
ALL prior issued permits for travel on this section of the roadway are NOW VOID.
Please plan your travel in this area accordingly.
05/18/2026:
Powers Township is restricting 88th Avenue, starting at CR4 (aka 74th Street) traveling north 3 miles to 77th Street, to 20,000 lbs GVW due to the rain and muddy roadway conditions. This restriction is effective immediately, and will remain in place until further notice.
Any and all prior issued permits are now VOID.

05/12/2026 Notice:
Ross Township has restricted 87th Avenue, from US2 south 2 miles to 60th Street, to 6 ton axle / 80,000 lbs gross with NO OVERWEIGHT TRAVEL ALLOWED.
This restriction is due to the current condition of the roadway and will remain in place until further notice.
ALL prior issued permits are now VOID for travel on that section of the roadway.
Please plan your travel accordingly.
