Located on the Van Hook Arm of North Dakota's Lake Sakakawea, Van Hook Resort is your destination for summer fun!  Van Hook offers free boater access to the lake and the day use facilities are open to the public.  Amazing fishing draws guests from around the state as Van Hook is well known as the “walleye nursery of Sakakawea”.  As soon as the ice melts in the spring anglers flock to this destination to take part in some of the best fishing that Lake Sakakawea has to offer.
